(CNN Español) - El astronauta de la Agencia Espacial Europea Tim Peake, a bordo de la Estación Espacial Internacional, comparte constantemente en su cuenta en Instagram y Twitter videos en time-lapse del recorrido de la estación sobre la Tierra.
Hace poco registró los cielos nublados desde el norte de África pasando por Turquía y hacia Rusia, en los que pudieron apreciar varios rayos.
"Es asombroso cuántos rayos pueden impactar nuestro planeta en un corto tiempo" escribió.

La Estación Espacial Internacional pesa 419.456 kilos y viaja a 8 kilómetros por segundo, orbitando la Tierra cada 90 minutos, según la NASA.
Peake también ha grabado videos de la noche sobre Reino Unido y el norte de Europa, de la aurora boreal y de Italia y los Alpes.
