(CNN Español) – Emiko Mori es la abuelita de 93 años que con sus publicaciones en Instagram se ha convertido en una de las modelos más seguidas en el red social

Su nieta comenzó a usar su cuenta de Instagram para compartir sus creaciones de tejido japonés llamado 'Saori' y decidió usar como modelo a su abuela.

La cuenta 1000 waves empezó a ganar popularidad a medida que Mori empezó a aparecer más en las publicaciones de su nieta.

La cuenta ya tiene más de 20 millones de seguidores aumentando no sólo la popularidad de Mori, sino el negocio de su nieta.

Chinami embraces a Japanese freestyle weaving technique called Saori, which allows her to mix and match colored yarn, string and fabric. “There are no rules,” explains the Japanese artist. “I can weave as freely and as colorfully as I want.” And no one wears — or personifies — her work better than Emiko, who spends time at Chinami’s workplace almost every day. “She’s my favorite person in the whole world,” says Chinami. “I make grandma happy, and that’s just so much fun for me, too.” 森千波 (@1000wave) さんが作るビビッドな色合いの織物を見事に着こなすのは、祖母のえみこさん、御歳93歳。織物には“さをり織り”とよばれる大阪で発祥した手織りの手法を用いている。「裂いた布でもなんでも織り込めるものであれば、ルールはありません。何にもとらわれず、思うままにカラフルに織り成せる最高の織物です」と話す千波さん。自由でカラフルな世界感から生まれる織物をカメラの前で表現できるのは、ほぼ毎日作業場で一緒に時間を過ごすおばあちゃんしかいない。「世界で一番好きな身内です。おばあちゃんを楽しませて、自分自身もおもいっきり楽しんでいます」#tgcemk
