(CNN)—Los fans de la saga Harry Potter tuvieron el miércoles un primer acercamiento a la siguiente película inspirada en la franquicia.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, la primera película de una trilogía, tiene previsto su lanzamiento dentro de un año, y su estrella, Eddie Redmayne, está listo para el primer plano según las nuevas fotos publicadas en la revista Entertainment Weekly.

Redmayne interpreta a Newt Scamander, el autor de ficción del libro de texto Fantastic Beasts que se utiliza en Hogwarts.

La escritora JK Rowling publicó el libro en 2001, y lo utilizó como base para su guión de las películas.

Los fans estaban emocionados por finalmente tener una idea de cómo se verá la película (y Redmayne como Newt).
