(CNN Español) - El próximo 17 de octubre dos artistas plásticos argentinos conocidos como Pool y Marianela estrenarán su exhibición 'Barbie. The Plastic Religion' (Barbie. La religión plástica), que muestra a los populares muñecos Ken y Barbie reimaginados como santos y vÃrgenes.
Aún sin debutar, los muñecos ya han sido blanco de crÃticas de quienes consideran que es ofensivo para la religión.
Entre las figuras que representan las Barbies están las patronas de Argentina, Venezuela, México, Uruguay y Perú, y otros paÃses latinoamericanos:

El duo de artistas dice, según su página web, que hacen este tipo de obras para usar el humor como herramienta para dejar en claro su desconexión con el universo de la mayorÃa, en este caso de la religión.
