Hathaway publicó una foto de Jonathan Rosebanks, fruto de su amor con Adam Schulman, quien aparecía de espaldas, apoyando las manos en un sofá, mientras miraba la pantalla de un ordenador, donde se podía ver a su madre dando un discurso en una conferencia organizada por la ONU a la que acudió como embajadora de buena voluntad de la organización.

A la ganadora del Oscar le gustó la imagen y decidió mostrársela a sus seguidores, aunque terminó arrepintiéndose. "Nunca he publicado una foto de mi hijo y decidí subir una en la que solo se ve la parte de detrás de su cabeza. Nada más hacerlo, habría deseado no haberlo hecho nunca", dijo en una entrevista.
